Downtown Chickasha

Historic Downtown Chickasha has become the place to be—with something for everyone.

From the railroad days to modern times, downtown has seen its share of ups and downs, but local people are bringing the momentum back. Over a dozen businesses opened, expanded, or relocated to the district since the start of 2022. In November, $1.4 million in private donations culminated in the opening of a new urban park at the end of Chickasha Avenue. And yes, there's a 50-foot leg lamp now.
